About Me
Canada Wander
Since I arrived in Canada in 2021 to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Analytics at Carleton University in Ottawa, I have been living here.
Originally from Bangladesh, I am a dedicated researcher who founded Canada Wander to assist others in navigating life in Canada more effectively.
More About the Why
When I began my research on moving to Canada, I found the process quite overwhelming. I had to make decisions about the right province, choose a university, and understand the application process, among other things. The information available was scattered, and I relied heavily on Facebook groups, as there was a lack of comprehensive guidance online apart from government (IRCC) websites.
I encountered similar difficulties when dealing with my mortgage, searching for an electrician, locksmiths, plumbers, house hunting, navigating the PR application process, obtaining a postgraduate work permit, and getting a driving license, super visa for parents, along with many other tasks.
This experience highlighted a significant gap in quality online resources that provide clear and detailed guidelines. This gap ultimately inspired me to create some resources of my own.
